The best alley ramen in Sapporo - Teshikaga Ramen Sapporo, Ramen Yokocho

Ramen, is one of the must eat food when come to japan. In this Hokkaido trip, I found out one of the ramen restaurant from TripAdvisor with high rating. And this restaurant is situated in a food alley within Sapporo city.

This restaurant call Teshikaga Ramen Sapporo, Ramen Yokocho ( 弟子屈ラーメン横丁店 ). Yokocho in Japanese means alleyways off to the side of a main street.
The alley full of restaurants
What so special on this restaurant is first it is located deep inside a alley. And second the food is highly recommended.
The front door of the Teshikaga Ramen Restaurant
Teshikaga Ramen Sapporo is situated within walking distant from Susukino Station. Its take about 5 minutes walk from the station. If you didn't pay attention, you will miss it easily as is not visible from the roadside. You need to walk into a alley within a building with full of restaurants.

As we reached the alley, we can see his front door non thing special, just like other ordinary restaurant. But when i pull the door open, I can smell very strong broth smell and see the chef is cooking for other guesses. The area is quite small and I feel it can only seat about 10 guess in one time.
In-shop view with other guesses
The chief can speak good English. He advised us to order from the vendor machine beside the door after show us our seat. Since we don't know what is their best seller. We had asked him for his recommendation.  And he had recommended us to their best selling (according to him) which are Char Siu Miso Ramen and All The Shoes Miso Ramen.

The price list on the wall, but in Japanese.
Without thinking much, we trusted him and ordered both as he recommended and pass him the order tickets to him. We we just sitting in front of him and can see he cooking our ramen. While waiting him to prepare our food, we can see they do prepared free cold water for drinking on the table.
The chef preparing our ramen
When he served the noodle to us, we can see he is arranging the topping on the ramen in very nice presentation before sending to us.
Char Siu Miso Ramen
All The Shoes Miso Ramen
When we taste it, we can taste their broth is very think and tasty. The ramen noodle is very tender and well cook. Their Char Siu is tender and well done. Overall, they are one of the best ramen I had in Sapporo.

Therefore, I'm highly recommend this restaurant if you would like to taste some good ramen when come to Sapporo. I'm giving  5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for this restaurant overall.
